Well, if we didn't have enough drill point grinding....here's another one.

I received this today and cleaned it up. It's missing some parts that I can make. The base maybe a little more difficult since I don't know the exact shape and where the index mark is supposed to be. The first picture is what I have, the others indicate what I need.

Maybe @RobinHood has one. He has everything else!!

Yes, I do have the complete drill grinding attachment (box, extra indexers & the manual).

@thestelster let me know how I can help you make the missing parts for your sharpener.
Ok, you asked for it!!

-I need basic dimensions of the base. As well if I order a hunk of cast iron to make the base, how thick do I need it?

-how long is the handle?

-what diameter is the ball at the end of the handle?

-detailed dimensions of the indexing collar for drill bits. (I don't think I'll ever need to do taps, so don't need those....for now).

I'd greatly appreciate all you can do for me. No rush, whenever you have the opportunity.

Hi Peter, thank you. The indexing collar is the one part that needs to be fairly accurate so decent drawings will definitely help, the rest is seat-of-the-pants make it work stuff.

Though if we can get dimensions of all the different collars and make detailed drawings, that would be a great bonus. But that's up to @RobinHood

The cast iron I got was from McMaster. I like that I get a certificate of composition, and where it's been made. I get 1-2 day delivery on almost everything I've ordered. The last piece I ordered was for the solid tool post project. 8" diameter, 3 1/4" thick, 42lbs, grey cast iron. Purolator shipping was $28.00US. How can you beat that?
