Cast iron repair Calgary (mold/cast/braze)

I have a cast iron waffle maker with a broken and missing hinge, the other half is there and should be an identical shape, the 2 halves mate together and fit in a socket.
These are similar unbroken waffle makers. I hI had the missing piece, it would make the repair much easier. it's broken off at the hinge/disk tangent, so it should be relatively strait forward.

I either braze it or TIG weld it. I actually like TIG more.
