Bridgeport Adapter, $275, LaSalle, ON

Description​

This adapter slides onto the knee dovetail and is secured with two angular brass clamps. It will not make a mark. It is for cutting keyways, as demonstrated, or with a dividing head can cut internal splines, squares, hexes, etc. The bored hole is 3/4", and can be bushed down for any diameter bar. The boring bar is not included.

I must be denser than usual tonight. I have read that ad three times and still have no clue how that works.
 
Pretty sure that the boring bar is held in that middle piece, and you use the table to manually "broach" the work piece....
