The first two pics are of the same boring bar, I have 12 of them and 10 look new. They take square HSS or carbide tipped tools, I believe 3/8 - so standard stuff. The three holes are for the set screws. As you can see these are big thick boys. Solid tool steel. Not very long but beefy.
The next two pics are of some other boring bars - all big. These are 2" and 2.5" shanks. Lots of metal. Price varies here, most expensive one would be the one with modular head.
I think I start at $20 each for the ones I have a dozen of, the other ones more $.
