BMW Reverse light makes for a good spindle light

My friendly neighbor dropped off a BMW reverse light that makes for a decent spindle light. A quick 3D print later and the table is a little brighter.

Ring lights are also available from AliExpress. The only issue I have is that with a drill chuck in the spindle there is a shadow. But overall a great solution.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... I printed a slip fit shroud. Glare was not bad, but why not?

I do most of my milling sitting down so the glare was irritating.
