Best cobalt drill bit set ??

Let's see them. I had no idea canadian tire sold such a thing.

There are on a special high security section at low, low price of $999.99 per set ;) I think we are not talking here about full carbide drill bits - these are expensive even from China (like few times more then same size end mills).

Maybe these are carbide tipped masonry bits or carbide tipped glass / tile bits.

It is possible (never tried myself) to use masonry bit on a very hard steel to start the hole or even drill through one. I assume this is for un precise hole that will have rather nasty look & you do not care about the bit.

I have been very impressed with KBC house brand bits. I bought 2 set of stub length drill bits, a fractional and a letter set. I've been using them for a couple of years and they seem to stand up as well as the Dormer and Cle-line bits I have.
