At the risk of offending buy North American fans there is a Chinese site called Bangood . In general its like Aliexpress . There is a store called Machinefit . They sell good machining items like carbide , holders ect . The stuff I have got from them came surprisingly fast and priced very reasonable . I find North American made tooling too expensive for hobby work when there is zero return.
 
Most tooling in NA is off shore anyway, however supporting local suppliers does help as it keeps a resource in play and people employed (even if it costs a little more). I general outsource when I can't find it on home stomping grounds.
