In 2017 I joined this group seeking Atlas machinery to start my machining journey, 8 years later what started as a hobby has turned into a viable business that I could leave my Automotive career of 42 years.
Due to the growth of my business (Small Dog Metal Fab Ltd) that I started in 2020, I need to make room for additional equipment, so I am selling my fully restored Atlas Machinery that I learned on (Lathe is un-restored). You can see a lot of the restoration threads right here on the Canadian Hobby Metal Workers website. All the machines are fully restored and functional with the exception of the lathe which I purchased for the intent of restoration, but the business took off too soon.
I have for sale an Atlas Horizontal Milling Machine, Atlas Shaper, Atlas 1020 Drill press and 12" 3900 Series Lathe with change gears. All come with stands and some tooling except the lathe.
$1500 each or $5500 for all four machines. Great way to learn or preserve some machining heritage. I have a decent amount of pictures of the restoration on the three machines and no pictures of the lathe.
The three machines come with manuals and other literature I obtained including a video for the milling machine on its operation. There are a couple of quick you tube videos on the mill and shaper restoration.
Message me if you are interested, They are located on Edmonton and purchaser must arrange for pick up.
