You guessed right, Yorkie
Our 4lb cat looks like a Monster next to it
My wife is hoping to train him to sit on her lap while she cruises around in her chair
..
We will see
In my experience, the biggest issues with Yorkies is house training.
We had hundreds of them and 99% would go in and out the dog door, bark at the cows, howl at the moon, visit with the neighbours, come inside to have a dump and then go back outside.
Mostly I blame the owners. A Lab crapping on the floor is a whole other level from a little Yorkie turd and people deal with house training accordingly.
Be ever vigilant if you are cruising around in bare feet
What's the new kid's name?
With that colouring I thought it was a Rottweiler. Actually, looks a lot like our sweet (departed) Yorkie. Great dog she was.Picked up the new guard dog today, should keep the criminals at bay!

My wife's hope of having a dog that'll cruise around may work out....the training has begun ..

Just imagine, a thousand generations ago that was a wolf....... Hard to believe but true!
Whackjobs trying to tell me bananas are a berry and tomatoes are a fruit these days. This worlds gone crazyi guess the color changes as they get older into more of those typical yorkie colors, although i like the black and brown
selective breading at its finest! the one case i always think of for that is the cow, how the heck humans turned an oxen into a cow (and so many varities) i find kind of amazing....or things like bananas and watermelons.....man humans are good at screwing with things!
Congrats on the new cat!
