...on Kijiji Calgary, search for 'hendey'. I had a look, too big for me but ways still have some paint on them after being apparently being reconditioned. $1000. A chance to own a piece of history!
 
Cool. Really really old. Pre dates the "engine lathe" ideal if you need a machine that you can run on steam power
 
Yes. I really wanted to own something that was built in the 1800s, but my 7 ft garage ceiling was a limiting factor. The machine was originally designed for a line shaft, but at some point this particular machine was equipped with an electric motor (3 phase) and also comes with a gearbox to change speeds.
