Initially I thought this was not that useful if a person has a set of angle blocks. But watching the video it is quite a clever idea and well executed.
 
It's a good idea. I've made soft jaws before for specific angles, using dowel pins for stops, but have never gone whole hawg into making one for various angles like that. In my experience, everytime I do that, and spend the time to make a nice specific tool, it's a guaranteed way to never need that tool again lol.
