Here's an interesting turn of events. Two packages. One with the carb kit for the tractor. One with ribbon cables for the Raspberry Pi camera.
The blue/white package had the cables. Notice it's been cut open and yes, the package was empty.
The photo is the one that the Amazon driver posted when he delivered. You'd think he'd notice the knife slice and look inside the package.
Amazon is issuing a refund to my credit card. No hassle.

If he notices, he has to write a report. He will NEVER... notice.

Never had an argument with Amazon. I tell them what's wrong, they fix it.

I've never had problems with Amazon before. This is a first. Even AliExpress has been good. The one box of connectors was dealt with. Missing stuff has been refunded. And if it does eventually arrive I order it again but then post a note to the sender about that and mark it received before it's even shipped so he gets paid; again. Everyone wins. I like that.

Well. Now I have a different problem. I've contacted the seller to see what to do. My wife was taking the blue recycling box out to the road and noticed a tiny clear plastic bag in the flowerbed beside where the Amazon Vehicle would have parked on the upper driveway.
Sure enough. The missing product.
So now I have it. Amazon has processed the refund already. Time to figure out how to pay the supplier.

Nice to see you being honest about it. I have been selling a few vintage car parts online. I sent a package to South Africa and it went missing so I refunded the money. 3 months later I was told and given photos that the package arrived. Still waiting to get paid. I'm pretty sure I will but shipping things internationally does not seem worth it unless I put a much bigger mark up on everything.

I bought some weber propane bbq jets and some other stuff to get me over the $35 free shipping hurdle. They got here in 2 days, but the bag was sliced open too. Only thing missing was the jets :(. They refunded my order right away, and I ordered the new jets with the wifes prime account because they would not just ship me more, and said I had to reorder.

I know a few people this has been happening to lately. I just missed the driver too, backing down the driveway.

I have had things go missing or delivered to the wrong address a few times. Amazon doesn't seem interested in finding the missing packages just credits you. I wonder how much stuff they just write off?

I've had a package go to California! Apparently because the address ended with CA. In the US some Americans seem to think CA must mean California and there is no such place as Canada! They didn't redirect it, just gave me a refund.

Amazon has always been great up till now. Fedex on the other hand..... We have a dyslexic fedex driver that delivers our stuff to the neighbors house all the time. Probably 50% of fedex deliveries go to his house. Or we'll see the truck drive up our dead end road right past our house, turn around and fly past the driveway then get an "undeliverable" message. I just got a shipped notice for my spot welder, so I'll see where that ends up lol.

Amazon is delivering an $8 bag of golf tees to me as we speak. I fail to see how I am a profitable customer for them in any way shape or form. :D

You do have the product now but there was inconvenience involved and your time was wasted. I assume your time is not free (if it is would you do some work for me). You should factor this in as far as refunds go. At least I would.

I ordered two things from Amazon.com, to be sent to a friends address in Phoenix Arizona, so I could pick them up when I was there. It was for some reason way cheaper than shipping to Canada. Anyway, the first item arrived fine, the second item, Amazon claimed that the address didn't exist and cancelled the order. They refused to let me re-order it for that address. I told them that the first order got there thus proving that the address existed but they wouldn't budge.

For a while there my stuff from Amazon was taking forever to get to me but lately things have picked up. The other day I recieved an item the next day and for us away from the big centers, that is amazing.
Now they seem to have been able to time travel with their logistics. Take a look at this screen shot from this morning at a few minutes 6:58 am.
