It's a pulley head Bridgeport Clone. Sounds like the clutch gears are gone between the top and bottom spindle. Big bucks to fix that. Who knows what else might be wrong with it.
The price scares me. Not because it's too much but rather that it might be a harbinger of prices to come when my bride pushes me into the hole and sells mine.
