40 POUND DRILL BIT!!

KeeponDragon

no problems... just challenges
I don't think at this weight...it could be remotely considered "hobby"...but jeezluz
@ just over 2 feet long and 4 inch wide...the pilot hole for this thing must be an inch or better lol
1 inch arbor
guys fb ad says "could be used for arm curls or squats"
I think his asking price is a tad high for something that is probly nothing more than a conversation piece or ornamental for a man cave...

big big drill bit for big big holes

I did a big LOL at the price ;)

The 1in arbor is way too small. I have 1in on a 2in bit and that needs to be super tight but also the bit is much, much shorter - at maybe 6". Cannot take full cut even with pilot drill in steel as the 1in is too small - would need Weldon shank.

Ornamental value only. Maybe $50 worth for show - and I think that is actually high.

Do you think I could get an adapter to fit my 1982 3/8” Craftsman drill?
I just want to shake the hand of the guy who drills a hole with it. I am sure we can make you and adapter. And watch a guy hand sharpen it with his angle grinder:p
