Agreed. They are not as nice as the originals. No other good reason I can think of to do that.

Possibly. But at that price point 44x40 is a steal even if it tipped tipped to the front.

Price is super deal.

Maybe? I don't see any damage to the knobs or gear change levers though.

Some guys want a thicker handle on the main handwheel. I'd give it the eveil eye, for sure, but it doesn't seem like a badly damaged machine.
