I’m new to your forum and was referred here by a local Calgary member.
I’ve been asked to help sell a couple machines and though I’m somewhat versed in the equipment unfortunately I’m not intimately familiar with this particular equipment.
located in Cochrane Alberta, I’m 20 minutes away in Calgary.
Microcut BL1340 lathe. Unsure of age but believed to have only had two owners. I’d say it has light wear and remains in very good condition, not abused. Last 20 years in a residential shop. Comes with a piston tool holder, number of tool holders with various carbide insert tools, boring bars, etc. The lathe was originally vended out of Modern Tool in Calgary.
6 pin cam lock chuck
single phase 230v
Unsure of HP
No taper attachment which I have been able to find.
I believe the QC post uses CXA size tool holders
More tooling than shown
Outside chuck jaws
follow rest, but no steady rest which I can find.
$7500 obo
Modern 9x49? Knee mill. Estimate just over 20 years old, same owners as lathe, seen little use. Single phase, small bit of tooling. May be somewhat difficult to remove from the existing garage. $9500
