Tool 12 Days of Casemass

I've had a bit of fun, doing 12 days of "casemass" aka Christmas...basically, grabbing one case out of my workbench and showing the interesting tools inside, how they work, what they're for, etc.

First day is here, a snapon set:

I'm particularly proud of the intro/outro's for it, so at least watch that :) lol it's a bit silly, out of my comfort zone, but that's the entire reason I started doing this youtube stuff in the first place, to push myself.

Very good. I look forward to the rest. Merry Casemass.

Say what now? I’ve never heard of them designed to “fix” threads, they are largely just a thread “cleaner”. They should be used to clean bolt holes before re-assembly, especially on parts that need to be torqued

If you've got a slightly mangled thread (let's say you bump mid threads with a hammer), they can straighten the rolled over threads back without cutting them like a die would. I have done this a couple times before successfully.

But yes, I usually use them for cleaning threads more than anything.

On the weekend I'll put together a short vid...but will grab some old rusty bolts and maybe some newish bolts and purposely damage a few to show what they can do.

I just gotta ask, how in the hell do you keep thar bench so empty? Good vids though.
Everything gets put away each day...the corner by the tool box does collect stuff though that I need to tidy up every now and then.

Also, Day 9, compression tester:
