STM is a generic house brand that can mean practically anything. Someone once said Swiss Tool M?? but I think its an inside joke. Usually made in China (but not always). Sometimes decent quality (but not always). Sometimes the older mechanical ones were a bit better (but not always). I have seen box sets like that come up. Maybe hop on FleaBay & see if that price goes around. But ask yourself how often you might be using the last 5 or so sizes. BTW the sticker says 0.0001" but my bet would be classic 0.001" increment barrel with the vernier scale to then pick off tenths.
